Exchanges Head of Mission in Liberia with International Cooperation Officer on Scholarship Program.

Monrovia, November 18, 2020 - The Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, held a meeting this Wednesday with the official of the Division of International Cooperation and Economic Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Mr. Dave Kountu, in order to follow up on the Cuba-Liberia scholarship program for the 2020-2021 academic year.

During the exchange, the existing friendship and cooperation links between Cuba and Liberia were highlighted.

The Liberian diplomat conveyed the gratitude of his government and people, to the Cuban, for the opportunity to train young people as high-level health professionals on the island.
