Addis Ababa, December 17, 2025.- For Cuba, Namibia represents an enduring symbol of brotherhood, internationalist solidarity, and shared historical memory, forged during the most decisive moments of the struggle for independence and self-determination of African peoples.
We visited the sister Embassy of the Republic of Namibia in Addis Ababa, where we held a fruitful exchange with the Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission, Veendapi Kamupingene, and the First Secretary, Selma Munyama.
During the meeting, we confirmed the excellent state of bilateral relations between our countries, based on mutual respect, cooperation, and the convergence of positions on key issues of the regional and international agenda. We also exchanged views on current international developments, reaffirming our shared commitment to continue strengthening political ties and cooperation within multilateral frameworks, particularly the African Union.
The visit reaffirmed the historic bonds of brotherhood between Cuba and Namibia, as well as the shared commitment to continue working together in defense of peace and multilateralism.
