Head of Cuban mission receives Liberian students studying in Cuba.

Monrovia, August 4, 2021.- This afternoon, the Cuban Embassy in Liberia received the visit of two of the Liberian students who are studying Medicine in Cuba through the Scholarship Plan offered by the Cuban government as part of the cooperation with the African country.

Francis Mahweah Jr. and Edvida B. Davies had a clear and cordial exchange with the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera where they showed all that Cuban solidarity is capable of achieving.

The occasion was propitious to exchange on the current situation in both countries. The young Liberians spontaneously denounced the media campaign against Cuba and thanked the Caribbean country for all it has done for their education.
