Monrovia, July 20, 2020 - Keeping the necessary measures of distancing by the Covid-19, in the afternoon of today took place the meeting held by the Chargé d'Affaires of Cuba Mercedes L. Martinez with Mr. Dave Kontue, Officer of International Cooperation and Economic Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia.
During the meeting, the training of young Liberian professionals in the Antillean nation was discussed. In particular, the selection of the two Liberian students who will travel to Cuba to pursue university studies in medicine, through the modality of intergovernmental agreement.
The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, in which both parties expressed the willingness of their governments to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral ties.
