Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group condemns the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries that do not cooperate against terrorism and denounces the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.

Monrovia, May 16, 2020 - The Libera-Cuba Friendship Organization condemns the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries that do not collaborate against terrorism.

At the same time, they denounce once again the terrorist act committed last April 30th against the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC. They point out that the United States remains silent and that terrorist acts cannot go unpunished.

In their statement they demand the end of the blockade on Cuba and highlight the work of Cuban doctors around the world at a time when Cuba is also facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

They highlight that with the reactivation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, aggression against millions of human beings, the lack of food, medicines and some basic inputs for life is intensifying.

Once again, the friends of Cuba joined their voices to say: "Enough is enough".
