Monrovia, July 9, 2022.- July 11 marks the first anniversary of the victory of the Cuban people against the most recent attempt by the enemies of the Revolution and those who allow themselves to be dragged along by malicious appeals to alter the peace and tranquility of the island of Cuba, so necessary to defeat the effects of the criminal U.S. blockade and advance on the path of building a more just, sustainable, prosperous and participatory society.
That Sunday demonstrated that President Miguel Díaz-Canel is a legitimate continuator of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, and that the majority of Cubans understand Cuba's current difficulties and repudiate the attempts at capitalist restoration.
Our Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association, once again, expresses full support for the Cuban Revolution and solidarity with the Cuban people who will not yield and will continue to defend their conquests. Cuba is not alone.
