Monrovia, August 6, 2022 - The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity group, with great sadness, sends a message of solidarity support to the Cuban people for the large-scale fire caused on August 5 by a lightning strike that hit the 52 crude oil storage tank at the Matanzas Supertanker Base.
In the solidarity message they express: Cuba is not alone in this difficult moment, our organization joins the pain suffered at this time by the Cuban people and expresses deep and heartfelt condolences to the people of Matanzas, the injured, the families of the victims and the Cuban government in whom we have total confidence in the face of the new challenge.
