Monrovia, March 19, 2024 - The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group expressed its support to the Cuban government and rejection of incitements to destabilization by enemies of the Cuban Revolution who incite violence, social unrest and seek to disrupt peace.
In a statement delivered to the Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, they condemn the new desperate attempt by the US to unbalance Cuba by taking advantage of the critical situation resulting from 6 decades of economic, commercial and financial blockade, which they consider an open act of aggression.
They point out that they are depriving the Cuban people to the point of suffocation with an intensified blockade and are trying to blame them for it.
They add that the recent events in the Greater Antilles, a country where many of their members have become good men and women, highlight the genocidal and suffocating role of the blockade.
They conclude their statement by indicating that Cuba is not alone, that friends in the world know what the objective of the US government is with its genocidal policy of blockade against the island.
