Monrovia, October 7, 2021 - The VII African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba brought together friendly voices of the Greater Antilles and in rejection of the hostile U.S. policy.
Liberian friends, together with the Cuban Embassy, actively participated in the virtual event of solidarity with the Caribbean Island.
The event, organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), was one of the virtual events developed in the period to strengthen ties between the African continent and the Antillean country in favor of solidarity with the island and against the economic, commercial and financial siege of the United States and its intensification by the Trump and Biden administrations; and reject the current unconventional war against Cuba, aimed at provoking political-ideological destabilization.
The virtual solidarity meeting paid tribute to the historic leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro and Ernesto Che Guevara, internationalist symbols in the struggles for the independence of the peoples.
