Liberian medical graduates in Cuba thank our country for their training and preparation.

Monrovia, September 12, 2024 - Doctors Edvida Davis Nyuma and Francis Maweah Jr. paid a visit to the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia after returning to Liberia after completing their medical studies in our country.

Both graduates of the specialty of Medicine completed their studies in the Greater of the Antilles and are ready to offer their services to the Liberian people.

They were received by the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera who congratulated them for the achievements obtained after finishing their studies and being distinguished in a special way with Gold Diplomas.

The Cuban diplomat wished them success in their professional and personal lives, and urged them to apply everything they learned, always adhering to the principles of humanism and solidarity.

The deepest gratitude to the Cuban government was a common denominator in the expressions of both young people. They especially extended their gratitude to Commander Fidel Castro, the architect of the programs for the studies in Cuba of thousands of young people like them, coming from many countries.
