Monrovia, October 17, 2020 - This Saturday, members of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association participated in the virtual event "Solidarity vs. Blockade" in which they condemned the damage caused by the genocidal measure of the United States to the cultural sector of our island.
The event is framed within the Cuban Culture Day and friends from different continents linked to art, and directors of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the Ministry of Culture and the MINREX took part in it. They dealt with issues such as international solidarity in the fight against the imperial campaign against Cuban medical collaboration; the rejection of the harassment of Cuban artists who defend the Revolution; and the actions against COVID-19 in the cultural sector.
This activity is part of actions against the blockade as is traditional on the 17th of each month.
