Press Release: Cuba holds Conference against Gender Violence.

New York, November 20th, 2017. From November 20th to December 15th, Cuba will hold the Conference against Gender Violence, organized by the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX), together with other Cuban national institutions. The objective of the Conference is to visualize and raise awareness on gender violence, which is a social, public health and human rights problem worldwide.

The Conference will develop a series of activities, including the following courses / workshops:

-- From November 27th to December 1st: Health Services, friends free of stigma and discrimination.

-- From December 4th to 6th:  Silence: a major problem

-- From December 7th to 9th: Violence, sexuality and human rights.

The Organizing Committee of the Conference invites all people interested - researchers, community activists, health professionals- to participate in the different activities that will take place during the Conference.
