HE Dr. Saud bin Saleh Kateb, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Public Diplomacy Affairs, received at his office in the Foreign Ministry headquarters the Cuban Ambassador in Riyadh, Orlando Requeijo.
During the meeting, both sides remarked the outstanding bilateral relations between the two countries and the mechanisms of cooperation established between the two Foreign Ministries in order to promote a bigger knowledge and diffusion on the features, feats, and advances in their respective countries through the cultural, scientific and information exchange.
Dr. Kateb assessed gladly the possibility of the return of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate with a stand in the next Havana International Book Fair to be held in 2020, trying to recover the attention of the Cuban public conquered in previous participations in the years 2013 and 2014, occasions in which the Saudi pavilion got the public prize to the best foreign pavilion in both Fairs. Also, they review the possibility of Saudi participation in other Cuban cultural events related to different arts and cinema.
Ibrahim Abdulwahab Al-Gharib, Director of Media Relations Department at the Foreign Ministry, was also attending the meeting.
