Secretary General of the International Solar Alliance receives the Ambassador of Cuba in India

New Delhi, October 28, 2021. Secretary General of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), Dr. Ajay Mathur received on Thursday morning the designated Cuban Ambassador, Alejandro Simancas Marín. In a cordial meeting, both ratified the will to continue strengthening the cooperation between Cuba and ISA, in order to achieve a more efficient use of renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy. Ambassador Simancas reiterated the importance that Cuba attaches to the development of different ways of generating energy from renewable sources and the support from Cuba to the initiative promoted by India in this regard.

Cuba is a founder member of the International Solar Alliance and currently Vice President for the Latin American and Caribbean region.
