Cuban Ambassador presents Letters of Credential to the Honorable President of India

New Delhi, December 13th, 2021.- New Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, presented his Credentials to the Honorable President of the Republic of India, His Excellency Ram Nath Kovind. During the solemn ceremony held in the Presidential Palace, President Ram Nath Kovind highlighted the historical relations of friendship between both countries and conveyed the will to continue developing relations both in the bilateral order, and in the multilateral sphere, where both countries have maintained a positive cooperation.

Secretary General of the International Solar Alliance receives the Ambassador of Cuba in India

New Delhi, October 28, 2021. Secretary General of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), Dr. Ajay Mathur received on Thursday morning the designated Cuban Ambassador, Alejandro Simancas Marín. In a cordial meeting, both ratified the will to continue strengthening the cooperation between Cuba and ISA, in order to achieve a more efficient use of renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy.

Cuban President expresses his solidarity with India for the victims of the recent floods.

Cuba expressed its solidarity with India on the occasion of the victims caused by the recent natural phenomena that have hit different regions of the country. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez, transmitted an official message to H.E. Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India, in which he expresses “the most sincere condolences, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, due to the regrettable loss of human life and material damage caused by the heavy rains and land displacements that are occurring in various states of India ”.
