Standing firmly with the Bolivarian people

Ottawa - On the afternoon of Monday, September 28, 2025, the members of the Cuban State Mission in Canada endorsed with their signatures the Declaration of the Cuban Revolutionary Government: "It is urgent to stop the military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela!"

The main remarks were given by the Second Chief of Mission, Counselor Dany Tur de la Concepción, who read the Declaration and called on those present to sign it as a show of support for the Bolivarian Revolution in the face of escalating actions by the United States government to justify military aggression.

The staff of the Consulates General of Toronto and Montreal joined in the support, and in the latter city, the members of the Cuban delegation who participated in the 42nd General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) were present. At the assembly, Cuba was elected to the Council of said organization in its Part III for the triennium 2025-2028, a recognition of the Island's prestige in the development of civil aviation.

At stake is not only the sovereignty of our sister Venezuela, but also peace in our America, and we cannot falter. As the Apostle stated: "(...) we must walk in a tight square, like silver in the roots of the Andes."
