Vandalism to José Martí's busts condemned in Liberia

Monrovia, January 25, 2020 - The Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association condemns the recent vandalism to the busts of the National Hero José Martí by stateless counter-revolutionaries financed by Washington, when all of Cuba was celebrating the 61st anniversary of the triumph of its Revolution.

In their statement, the friends of Cuba expressed their repudiation and indignation at such provocations and declared that José Martí is alive in the hearts of all those who wish for a better world.

The occasion was propitious to highlight the values of the Cuban apostle and to reject the actions stimulated by the Miami counterrevolution and the administration of Donald Trump.
