June 11, 2019. Cuba's Foreign Affair Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, arrived in Trinidad and Tobago, the first stop of a visit of the Caribbean to further strengthen relations with the region.
Cuba, June 11, 2019.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, will begin a visit of Caribbean countries on Tuesday, which will run until June 18. The journey includes the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and Barbados. He will also head the delegation that will participate in the VI CARICOM-Cuba Ministerial Meeting, to be held in Guyana on June 14.
Declaration of the Revolutionary Government
The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the measures announced by the United States Government on 4 June 2019, further tightening the economic blockade imposed on Cuba for over 60 years, at a cost for the Cuban economy which amounted to over 134 billion dollars in 2018 at current prices, and to the figure of 933 billion dollars, taking into account the devaluation of the US dollar vis-à-vis the price of gold in the world market.

The 124th anniversary of the fall in combat of the Cuban National Hero, José Julián Marti Pérez, was commemorated by Cubans who are serving a mission in Dominica in two events held at the headquarters of the brigades of collaboration, on May 18, 2019, the eve of that anniversary of the history of Cuba.
