REALIZES STATE MISSION OF CUBA IN DOMINICA EXERCISE "METEORO 2019".

Roseau, Dominica, May 18, 2019. The state mission of Cubans located in Dominica, developed today, May 18, 2019, the Exercise "Meteor 2019", with the aim of checking existing plans for face situations of natural risks (hurricanes, intense rains, earthquakes, volcanic activity), technology (pollution, fires) and health in the workplace. The officers of the Embassy and the employees who are part of the health brigade and the ACOREC and UNECA builders' brigades participated in the exercise.

MAKE CUBAN MEDICAL BRIGADE IN DOMINICA SCIENTIFIC DAY

For the first time this event is held in english language, to facilitate the participation of professionals of other nationalities.

Roseau, Dominica, May 10, 2019. The Minister of Trade, Energy and Employment of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Ian Douglas, received today, May 10, 2019, in his office, the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Ulises Arranz Fernández. During the meeting topics of mutual interest linked to relations between both countries in the field of trade and preparation of the workforce in Dominica were discussed.

CUBA AMBASSADOR MEETS TO DEAL MATTERS LINKED TO THE COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR DOMINICA'S CONSTRUCTIVE RECOVERY.

Roseau, May 8, 2019. A meeting to discuss issues related to the "Agreement of Cooperation between the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Cuba and the Ministry of Housing and Lands in the Commonwealth of Dominica, for the Constructive Recovery in the Commonwealth of Dominica ", signed on June 14, 2018, was held in the afternoon of yesterday, May 7, 2019, at the seat of the government of this country. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Cuba, Ulises Arranz Fernández and the Head of the Builders Brigade that works in Dominica, Mr. Juan Antuch Suarez. On behalf of Dominica, Ambassador Steve Ferrol, Secretary of Cabinet Prime Minister's Office, was present.
