Dominica, Roseau, March 5, 2016. Cuban ambassador to Dominica, Juan Carlos Frómeta, participated in the Mass celebrated in this capital in honor of the 4th anniversary of the death of Commander Hugo Chavez. At Mass, officiated in the Church Our Lady of Fatima, also participated the President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, S.E. Charles Savarin, members of the Cabinet of Government, of the Diplomatic Corps, as well as resident Dominicans.

Over the last few weeks, international media have reported the intention of OAS General Secretary Luis Almagro Lemes to travel to Havana, in order to receive a "prize" invented by an illegal grouplet, which operates in concert with the ultra-right wing Foundation for Pan American Democracy, created in the days of the 7th Summit of the Americas in Panama, to channel efforts and resources in opposition to legitimate, independent governments in Our America.

Dominica, Roseau, January 1, 2017. Members of the Cuban Medical Brigade (CMB), Cubans residents, Dominicans and the Embassy of Cuba commemorated the 58th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution in this capital. The activity was chaired by Dominica's Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. David Jonhson, the Head of the CMB, Dr. Jorge Ribeaux and the Cuban Ambassador, Juan Carlos Frómeta. During the commemoration, a tribute was paid to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, recently deceased.
