This world forum of plural and multidisciplinary thought is convened by the José Martí Project for World Solidarity. Since 2003 this project has been supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), and other international platforms.

Jamaica Cuba Friendship Association joins with the rest of progressive humanity in commemorating, the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban revolution, over the US-backed dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista, as an epoch -making event for the ordinary people, of this world, the likes of which have not been replicated since then.
Kingston, 26 December 2022. The Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association and the Association of Jamaican Graduates in Cuba have coordinated the shipment of a donation to the provinces affected by Hurricane Ian last September.
The solidarity aid, which departed from Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, consists of more than 500 kg of medical supplies, medicines, wheelchairs and other materials, in addition to previous efforts aimed at dealing with accidents and meteorological events.
