The designation of Cuba as a sponsor of terrorism is rejected in Saint Lucia.

The Humanistic Solidarity Association Saint Lucia-Cuba (HSA) convey to the people and the government of Cuba the unstinting solidarity on the matter of the recent decision by the Donald Trump administration, to include the Republic of Cuba on its so-called List of States Sponsors of Terrorism. The HSA wishes to join the people and the government of Cuba, in a most categorical rejection of this unjust designation of our Caribbean sister state, Cuba.

Saint Lucia personalities support the Henry Reeve Brigade for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Two important political figures from Saint Lucia, who served as the highest representatives of their state and government, conveyed support for the nomination of the Henry Reeve Cuban Medical Brigade for the Nobel Peace Prize. His Excellency Dame Pearlette Louisy, former Governor General, and Honorable Dr Kenny Anthony, former Prime Minister and current Member of the House of Assembly, joined the campaign launched by the Humanistic Solidarity Association Saint Lucia - Cuba to give this high recognition to the Henry Reeve Brigade.

New students from Saint Lucia receive their scholarships to study in Cuba.

The group of twelve students from Saint Lucia who were approved for university studies in Cuba formally received their scholarships at a ceremony held at the Embassy of Cuba. The activity was conducted in three separate groups to comply with the regulations established to avoid Covid-19.

Patriotic declaration of the Cuban collaborators in Saint Lucia

The Cuban collaborators working in Saint Lucia, belonging to the Medical Brigade, the Henry Reeve Brigade, UNECA and Cubadeportes have issued a statement in light of what they consider the recent "actions promoted by the United States Government and citizens in this country to provoke a "soft blow" in our homeland".

Prime Minister of Saint Lucia praises relations with Cuba during the Cuba Caricom Summit.

The Honorable Allen Chastanet, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, spoke at the VII Cuba Caricom Summit, which was held virtually on December 8. “Commendably, the Government of Cuba has been at the fore-front in providing assistance on a global scale in fighting COVID-19.” On last March, the Henry Reeve Brigade, composed of 113 healthcare professionals, arrived on island to assist Saint Lucia in combatting COVID -19. “These medical professionals have provided invaluable service to Saint Lucia and we were very pleased to have received them”.
