Statement of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Cuba
The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (GOSVG) fully endorses the statement of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) issued on May 24 2024, on the United States actions against the Republic of Cuba.
The GOSVG further states:
The right of the Republic of Cuba to exercise territorial sovereignty without international interference as cited in Article 2 (4) in the United Nations Charter. Therefore, the GOSVG reemphasises its rejection of the unilateral coercive sanctions imposed by the United States of America and the economic, commercial, and financial embargo that affects the lives and livelihoods of thousands of Cubans.
Most recently, the U.S. State Department has listed the Republic of Cuba on a list of countries “allegedly” sponsoring state terrorism (see more..)
