Cuban Ambassador thanks solidarity of the government and people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

March 25, 2024- Cuba thanked today the donation of 235 metric tons of flour to the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which will contribute to relief the complex food situation experiencing by the island right now, due to the intensifying of the US blockade.

The Cuban ambassador designate to this country, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, Foreign Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Honorable Keysal Peters and the CEO of the East Caribbean Group of Companies, farewelled the vessel that will transport the important donation, which left this morning for the port of Mariel (Havana), where it will arrive in the coming days.

On behalf of the Cuban Government and people, Rodríguez Etcheverry thanked the Vincentian authorities for the solidarity and humanitarian gesture, at a particularly difficult time for Cuba, which demonstrates once again the solid relationship of brotherhood between the two nations and the commitment to continue strengthening them

ALBA-TCP rejects destabilization attempts against Cuba

On March 18, 2024, U.S. Chargé d'Affaires Benjamin Ziff was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Deputy Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío, who formally conveyed to him the firm rejection of the interference and slanderous messages of the U.S. government and its embassy in Cuba regarding the internal affairs of the Cuban reality.

Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves receives Cuban delegation.

Kingstown, 11 September. The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, received this morning the delegation of the Ministries of Agriculture and Food Industry visiting this Caribbean island.

 

The delegation, headed by Deputy Minister Javier Aguilar, expressed their gratitude for the welcome and the attentions received, as well as highlighting the ample possibilities for increased collaboration and trade in these important sectors.
