Kingstown, 13 December. The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hon. Ralph Gonsalves left in the early hours of the night for Havana, leading the delegation from the Caribbean island that will participate in the XVII Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Havana, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the constitution of ALBA-TCP by Presidents Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez.
Kingstown, December 12, 2019 - This morning, José Manuel Leyva Ventura presented the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the Governor General of that country, Her Excellency Mrs. Susan Dogan, in a solemn ceremony held this Thursday in the Government House.

In a fraternal and friendly atmosphere, they were able to confirm the excellent state of bilateral relations and ratified the will to continue deepening the bonds of friendship, collaboration and cooperation in various areas.
Members of the Government, Cuban collaborators, representatives of the diplomatic corps and other local authorities attended the activity.
In his speech, the Prime Minister referred to the excellent state of bilateral relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, highlighted the work of Cuban collaboration and the prestige gained by it among the Vincentian population.
