Press Release of the Second Edition of the Iberoamerican Film Festival in Cyprus

For the second year, an Iberoamerican Film Festival will be celebrated in Cyprus. The Embassies of Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Portugal and Spain, in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes de Nicosia and The Friends of the Cinema Society, have the pleasure to bring to Cyprus one more time a taste of these Iberoamerican countries.

The opening film will be the Brazilian Menino e o Mundo - The Boy and the World (2013), dirigida por Alê Abreu.

Η δεύτερη έκδοση του Ιβηροαμερικανικού Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου φτάνει στην Κύπρο.

Οι πρεσβείες της Βραζιλίας, της Κούβας, του Περού, της Πορτογαλίας και της Ισπανίας είναι στην ευχάριστη θέση να προσφέρουν στην Κύπρο, για άλλη μια φορά, μια γεύση από την κινηματογραφική τους κουλτούρα καθώς θα φιλοξενήσουν το 2ο Φεστιβάλ Ιβηροαμερικανικού Κινηματογράφου με τη συνεργασία του Ινστιτούτου Cervantes στη Λευκωσία και του Όμιλου Φίλων Κινηματογράφου.

Second edition of the Ibero-American Film Festival arrives in Cyprus.

The embassies of Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Portugal and Spain are pleased to offer, once more, a taste of their cinematographic culture to Cyprus as they will host the 2nd Iberoamerican Film Festival with the cooperation of Cervantes Institute of Nicosia and The Friends of the Cinema Society.

AKEL General Secretary's visit to Cuba concluded

The visit of an AKEL delegation led by the General Secretary of the AKEL Central Committee, Stefanos Stefanou, to Cuba, which took place following an invitation by the Communist Party of Cuba, has been completed. The General Secretary was accompanied by Vera Polycarpou, Head of the International Relations and European Policy Sector.

Ολοκληρώθηκε η επίσκεψη του ΓΓ ΑΚΕΛ στην Κούβα

Ολοκληρώθηκε η επίσκεψη αντιπροσωπείας του ΑΚΕΛ με επικεφαλής τον Γ.Γ. της ΚΕ ΑΚΕΛ, Στέφανο Στεφάνου, στην Κούβα η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε μετά από πρόσκληση του Κομμουνιστικού Κόμματος Κούβας. Τον Γ.Γ. συνόδευε η Βέρα Πολυκάρπου, επικεφαλής του Τομέα Διεθνών Σχέσεων και Ευρωπαϊκής Πολιτικής.
