On Sunday 18 February, at 09:30. The starting point will be Anagennisi Tseriou and it will end at the Cuban Embassy in Strovolos. The event will be welcomed by the Ambassador of Cuba in Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero.
The Cuban diplomat conveyed his congratulations to the Ambassador of the sister Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Mr. Alireza Salarian, and highlighted the excellent state of relations between the two countries, which are fighting for the development of their respective countries, facing challenges such as unilateral and coercive measures. The Cuban Ambassador highlighted the cooperation between Iran and Cuba during COVID 19, in particular with the production in that country of the Cuban Soberana vaccine.

During the fraternal meeting the two diplomats exchanged on the bilateral relations that unite the two countries, as well as internal issues of the country and the serious consequences of the unjust embargo imposed by the United States on Cuba.

On the evening of 30 January 2024, an event to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution was held at the People's Organisations Club of Kiti. The event, organised by the Progressive Party of the Working People of Cyprus (AKEL) of Kiti and the Cyprus Cuba Friendship Association, was attended by several friends from the region of Kiti, Dromolaxia, Perbolia and neighbouring areas.
Fragments of the documentary "Ode to the Revolution", by the Cuban documentary maker Roberto Chile, started an evening full of emotions and solidarity.
