The visit of an AKEL delegation led by the General Secretary of the AKEL Central Committee, Stefanos Stefanou, to Cuba, which took place following an invitation by the Communist Party of Cuba, has been completed. The General Secretary was accompanied by Vera Polycarpou, Head of the International Relations and European Policy Sector.
Ολοκληρώθηκε η επίσκεψη αντιπροσωπείας του ΑΚΕΛ με επικεφαλής τον Γ.Γ. της ΚΕ ΑΚΕΛ, Στέφανο Στεφάνου, στην Κούβα η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε μετά από πρόσκληση του Κομμουνιστικού Κόμματος Κούβας. Τον Γ.Γ. συνόδευε η Βέρα Πολυκάρπου, επικεφαλής του Τομέα Διεθνών Σχέσεων και Ευρωπαϊκής Πολιτικής.
The Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, attended the Parliament´s Special Plenary Session after invitation from H.E The President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Demetriou, on the occasion of the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Cyprus´ Accession to the European Union.
In the session, all Cyprus´ political parties discussed the benefits and challenges of being part of the European Union and all the future targets to address (EmbaCuba Chipre).

Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, attended event on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Bicommunal Dialogue of Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot Political Parties facilitated by Slovak Diplomacy and the visit of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic H.E. Juraj Blanár and which took place at the Ledra Palace Hotel.
