Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, attended the "Diplomacy meets Business" series, on this occasion dedicated to "Science, Technology and Innovation for Business and Government", at the Zest Restaurant in Pinakothiki, as part of the Economic Diplomacy actions implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Ambassador personally congratulated Ms. Kassianidou on her appointment as Deputy Minister of Culture and informed her about the collaborations planned in the immediate future and suggested some other projects in order to improve the existing cultural relations between the two countries.
On the morning of 18 February, five dozen young people gathered at the Che Guevara monument square in the city of Tseri to start the caravan organised by the United Democratic Youth Organisation - EDON and the Cyprus Cuba Friendship Association on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and against the unjust, unilateral and genocidal blockade imposed by the United States Government against the Cuban people for more than 60 years.
