Hundreds of signatures are collected in Cyprus to remove Cuba from the spurious “List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.”

Meeting of the Cuban Ambassador with the Commissioner for Gender Equality

The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero held a meeting today with the Commissioner for Gender Equality, Mrs. Josie Christodoulou, at the offices of the Commissioner.

During the meeting they discussed the work that Cuba and Cyprus are doing respectively in the area of Gender Equality and the Ambassador handed her an informative document including some ideas about the work on Gender Equality in Cuba and some figures that demonstrate the Empowerment of Women and Gender Equality in Cuba that allow to illustrate the progress of Cuba in this area.
