The Ambassador of Cuba received delegation of the International Relations Committee of the Cyprus Greens

Nicosia, 24 October 23.- Ambassador Angel Gustavo Suárez Cordero received today, at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Cyprus, members of the International Relations Committee of the Cyprus Greens.

During the fraternal meeting, he presented Cuba's report on the negative impact of the criminal, unjust and genocidal blockade, which will be submitted to the United Nations General Assembly on November 1 and 2. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the support he has received from the Cyprus Greens against the blockade.

Ambassador of Cuba receives courtesy visit from the designated Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

On the morning of October 11, 2023, the Ambassador of Cuba, Angel Gustavo Suárez Cordero, received a courtesy visit to His Excellency at the diplomatic headquarters. Ambassador-designate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Basheer F. Zoubi.

The Cuban Ambassador offered an update on the negative impact on his country's economy of the unilateral, inhuman and genocidal blockade by the United States more than 60 years ago against its people.

During the fraternal meeting, both diplomats exchanged on issues on the international and regional agenda.

Second container with medical aid from Cyprus on the way to Cuba.

On the morning of October 9, 2023, a second container of medical aid was loaded for the "Juan Manuel Márquez" pediatric hospital located in the Marianao municipality, Havana, thanks to friends of solidarity, businessmen, the Cuban dance school Caliente dance studio, the bishopric of Tamasos and Orinis and other anonymous donors collected medicines and general medical supplies.
