United Nations Secretary General met with Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba

New York, July 18th, 2023.- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning, Alejandro Gil Fernández, who leads his country delegation to the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, was welcomed by Secretary General of United Nations, Antonio Guterres, at the headquarter of this multilateral organization.

During the meeting, the Secretary General praised Cuba´s cooperation with the System of United Nations and highlighted the work carried out as Chair of the Group of 77 and China.

A clear message of rejection of the Blockade from Denmark.

The Danish Communist Party (KP) launches a message of support for the Cuban Revolution, in which it expresses a firm rejection of the United States blockade, and the need to remove Cuba from the list of states sponsoring terrorism. The Cubans residents in Denmark support the "Declaration of Associations and Cubans residing in Europe".

In the text of the declaration, Cubans residing in Europe express their defense of the project of the Cuban nation, and resolutely oppose the pressures that take place within the framework of the European Parliament on the eve of the CELAC-EU Summit.

From the Juntos por Cuba Channel, the text of the Declaration opposes the exclusion of a part of Civil Society, and in turn, any Resolution contrary to respect for the sovereignty of Cuba is rejected.

The Ambassador of Cuba meets with several Danish tour operators.

Copenhagen, July 13, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, held several meetings with Danish travel operators, to promote the tourist options offered by the Cuban market for the 2023-2024 season.

In this way, and with the participation of the Tourism Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Sweden, Eddy Santos, in the meetings with the executives of Svane Rejser, Munditours, Apollo, and Stjernegaard Rejser; several actions were decided to boost operations with these tour operators.
