Statement by Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, at the presentation of the National Report of Cuba to the fourth cycle of the Universal Periodic Review of the Human Rights Council. Geneva, November 15, 2023.

Madam Vice-Chair;

Excellencies;

Distinguished delegates;

I bring from Cuba a message of solidarity and support for the Palestinian people. The indiscriminate attacks against the civil population and the United Nations workers; the bombings against hospitals, ambulances and schools and the mass destruction of housing and vital infrastructure are a collective punishment as well as a serious violation of International Humanitarian Law.

We stand in solidarity with all victims and share the grief of the Arab and Hebrew communities in Cuba.

Cuban Ambassador visits the diplomatic headquarters of Palestine in Copenhagen

Copenhagen, November 15, 2023. The Cuban ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, visited the diplomatic headquarters of Palestine in this capital.

During his visit to the Ambassador, Manuel Hassassian, the Cuban diplomat reiterated the solidarity of the Cuban people with the heroic and just Palestinian cause. Likewise, he condemned the genocide that Israel commits against the defenseless civilian population.

Cuban residents in Denmark participate in the IV Conference “The Nation and Emigration.”

Cubans residing in Denmark will participate in the IV Conference “The Nation and Emigration” that will take place between November 18 and 19, 2023 in Havana.

The meeting of the Ambassador of Cuba, Roger López García, with those attending the event, which took place at the Embassy of Cuba, in the Kingdom of Denmark, confirmed the willingness to continue strengthening ties with Cubans residing in the Nordic nation. With the participation of the Head of the Consular Office, Eneida Lemus Zellero, various aspects of the event were discussed.

The Ambassador of Cuba visits the “Sapere Aude” Gallery in Copenhagen

Copenhagen, November 2, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Roger López García, visit the “Sapere Aude” Gallery, which exhibits the works of several Cuban artists.

The painting samples, with a marked visual expressionism, and a narrative language about human existence, allow the viewer to identify with a modern and authentic art.
