Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Government of the Republic of Cuba rejects the mendacious allegations being spread by the United States Government concerning an alleged involvement of Cuba in the military conflict in Ukraine. This is a slanderous accusation first launched in 2023 by certain media outlets without offering any evidence or substantiation of any kind, and clearly serving an assigned purpose.
Dublin, October 10, 2025. As the first activity of the First National Meeting of Cubans Residing in Ireland and their Descendants, to be held on October 10 and 11, this morning, Cubans and Irish people paid tribute to the Irish journalist and parliamentarian, James Joseph O'Kelly, who interviewed, at risk to his life, the Father of the Nation, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, in the Mambí jungle and wrote his memoirs about his visit to Cuba in late 1872 and early 1873 in the book entitled "Mambi Land".

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba expresses its profound concern and categorical rejection of the decision by the Government of the United States to exclude three countries, including Cuba, from the Tenth Summit of the Americas, scheduled for December 4 and 5 in Punta Cana.
