The Revolutionary Government reports on combatants killed in the line of duty in Venezuela

As a result of the criminal attack perpetrated by the United States government against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, carried out in the early morning of January 3, 2026, 32 Cubans lost their lives in combat. They were serving on missions representing the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, at the request of their counterparts in the South American country.

“We strongly condemn the ongoing military aggression by the #USA against #Venezuela. The bombings and acts of war against Caracas and other locations in the country are cowardly acts against a nation that has not attacked the US or any other country,” the Foreign Minister declared on X.

The Cuban government today strongly condemned the recent airstrikes perpetrated by the United States against Venezuelan territory, calling them an act of state terrorism and a flagrant violation of the South American nation's sovereignty.

The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples condemns the criminal military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela unleashed by the United States government in recent hours. Latin America and the Caribbean is and must remain a zone of peace.

Under false pretexts and with the shameless and continuous use of lies, the United States government is militarily attacking Venezuela to seize its oil resources.
