By congratulating the Irish people and government on the occasion of St. Patrick's Day, the Cuban Foreign Ministry expresses the will to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries.

Dublin, March 16, 2024. As a sign of the close relations between Cuba and Ireland, the highest Cuban authorities, headed by the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent congratulatory messages to the Irish government and people, in occasion of its National Day.
In the message from the Cuban president, addressed to the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, the will to continue strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries is ratified.
Dublin, March 6, 2024. In a joint effort to promote tourism to Cuba, the Irish agency “Sunway Travel”, in coordination with the Cuban Tourism Office in the United Kingdom and the Cuban embassy in Ireland, have started a campaign to bring the Irish closer to the benefits and beauty of the Caribbean archipelago.
To this end, promotional advertisements have been placed in 29 central locations in the capital of Ireland.
