Trade Union Association of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia Ratifies Firm Support for Cuba

Prague, March 21, 2026.- The Trade Union Association of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia issued a public statement expressing its categorical rejection of the United States government's actions against Cuba. In a gesture of profound solidarity with Cuban workers and people, the Czech trade union organization joined the international call of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) to demand an end to the policies of economic suffocation against the Island.

my, členky LKŽ, odsuzujeme nové kroky USA proti Kubě. Další rozšiřování blokády na dovoz paliva, zvyšování cel jsou protiprávní, nedemokratické a prezident USA se svojí vládou nemá žádné právo Kubě takto vyhrožovat.

Mocichtivá vláda USA si chce podmanit celý svět. Kubánský lid víc jak 65 let čelí nesmyslné blokádě ze strany USA. Celou dobu však dokazuje vůli celého národa vzdorovat a zvládnout všechny ekonomické, hospodářské překážky.

Proto říkáme velké STOP vládě USA. Dejte ruce pryč od Kuby, nechte kubánský lid budovat svoji krásnou vlast.

Cuba condemns terrorism and reaffirms its cooperation on security and the fight against money laundering. Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Cuba unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, while reaffirming its commitment to cooperate with the United States and other nations to strengthen regional and international security.

Cuba categorically declares that it does not harbor, support, finance, or permit terrorist or extremist organizations. Our country maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward terrorist financing and money laundering, and is committed to preventing, detecting, and combating illicit financial activities, in accordance with international standards.

Statement by the Revolutionary Government. Cuba condemns and denounces new escalation of US economic blockade.

The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the new escalation by the US government against Cuba in its efforts to impose a total blockade on fuel supplies to our country.

The executive order issued by the US President on January 29, 2026, declares a supposed national emergency, under which his government will be able to impose trade tariffs on imports of products from countries that supply oil to Cuba.
