Cuba participates in the important tourism fair World Travel Market London 2024.

Cuba will participate in the prestigious tourism fair World Travel Market London (WTM), which for more than four decades has brought together the most important players in the global tourism sector. This will be yet another opportunity to showcase our country as a safe and attractive destination for the British and international public. Distinction for National Culture awarded to Parvathi Kumaraswami and Antoni Kapcia, unconditional friends of Cuba

British academics from the Nottingham University Parvathi Kumaraswami and Antoni Kapcia, who study and disseminate Cuba's historical and cultural memory, were awarded Cuba’s Distinction for National Culture at the 30th edition of the Fiesta de la Cubanía in Bayamo, in the province of Granma. Their outstanding contribution to the promotion and preservation of Cuban history and culture was, therefore, recognized.
