The Chief Director of Ghana's Foreign Ministry ratifies disagreement of his country with the blockade against Cuba

Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana by the Ambassador Albert Francis Yankey, recently appointed Director General of that Ministry.

The Cuban Ambassador updated his interlocutor on the effects over Cuba of the Hurricane Irma, while the Director General expressed Ghana´s sympathy with the government and the Cuban people.

Ghanaian graduates in Cuba deliver Fidel’s picture to the Cuban Embassy

During an evening activity at the "T-Havana Park" Recreation Center, a representation of the Ghanaian graduates in Cuba, paid tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.

Mr. Philip Arthur, President of the Program Organizing Committee for the 30th Anniversary, and also member of the management of the Association of the Ghanaian Trained in Cuba (ESBECAN), presented to the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, a cadre of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, and whom the ESBECAN consider as their second father.

Meeting with Ghanaian youth at the Cuban Embassy

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Julio César Sánchez Martínez, held a fraternal meeting with five Ghanaian students who will participate in one-year training of Spanish Language at the University of Cienfuegos.

During the meeting, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. explained aspects related to Cuban history, culture and the current situation. He also addressed the particularities of the city of Cienfuegos, capital of the province of the same name.

Cubans and Ghanaians pay homage to Fidel on his 91st birthday

The collective of the Cuban Embassy, a representation of Ghanaian graduates in Cuba, members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, and Cubans living in Ghana, celebrated with a sporting event, the birthday 91 of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.
