Cuba celebrated the 61 anniversary of the triumph of the victorious socialist revolution

 

The January 1st 2020 the members of the Embassy of Cuba, together with collaborators from different sectors represented in South Africa and Cuban residents in this country, celebrated the advent of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

The celebration was a favorable framework for the Chargé d'affaires, Liliam Tápanes, to pronounce a few words, recalling the recent speech of our president Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez addressed to Cuban diplomacy on its 60th anniversary and the role it has played, along with numerous institutions , essential to win great battles, such as:

Cuban scientists participate in the international symposium on moringa in South Africa

Pretoria, November 13, 2019.-Doctors María del Carmen Pérez, General Director of the Entity of Science, Technology and Innovation (ECTI) “Sierra Maestra” and Concepción Campa, Director of the National Moringa Program, represented Cuba in the second International Symposium on Moringa that had place from November 10 to 13 in South Africa.

After concluding the event, they held a meeting at the diplomatic headquarters of Cuba, in which a representation of the members of the State Mission in South Africa led by Ambassador Rodolfo Benitez Verson participated.

Lesotho’s Association of Graduates in Cuba Holds Welcoming Reception to Newly Graduates in the Island and Cuba’s New Medical Brigade Members

Pretoria, 5 October, 2019.- Members of Lesotho’s Association of Graduates in Cuba hosted a warm welcoming reception in Maseru, capital of the Kingdom of Lesotho in honor of the students of the Kingdom who finished their studies in Cuba in the recently concluded school year.

The Cuban cooperators in the country, including eleven newcomer medical brigade members, took part in the reception. These physicians arrived recently in Lesotho as part of the implementation of the New Cooperation Agreement in the field of Health, signed by the two countries last June 6.
