The President of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe, honorable Jacob Francis Mudenda, received a letter from the President of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba, Esteban Lazo Hernández, in which he expresses his satisfaction with the recent creation of the Zimbabwe - Cuba Parliamentary Forum in the Zimbabwe National Assembly.
The Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Elio Savón Oliva, was one of the winners of the "Award of Excellence", during the event "Diplomat of the Year Awards " held annually in this capital.
The Zimbabwe´s Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Lazarus Dokora reiterated to the Cuban ambassador his interest in expanding the ties of collaboration with Cuba in the field of education.
During an informal meeting, the Zimbabwean minister explained to the Cuban diplomat the process of reforms that his ministry is introducing in primary and secondary education, where the Cuban experience will be useful.
