Tehran, October 28, 2020. The director of Division 1 for the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Bahram Shahabodin received the Ambassador of Cuba, Alexis Bandrich Vega in a fruitful meeting during which they reviewed the state of bilateral relations and ratified the common interest in deepening the historic ties between our peoples and governments.
Informative note
As part of the measures announced by the Cuban authorities, Cuban citizens and foreigners residing in Cuba who have exceeded their time abroad of 24 and 12 months respectively since March 19, must request an extension of stay in our office. For the period between March 19, 2020 and October 12, 2020, no charge will be made. After October 12, 2020, the rate established for this service will be charged. This measure is valid until October 12, 2021.
