Cuba rejects the decision announced by the President of the United States to use the Guantanamo Naval Base to imprison tens of thousands of migrants he has proposed to forcibly expel. It is a demonstration of the brutality with which that government is acting to supposedly correct problems created by the economic and social conditions of that country, the government's own management and its foreign policy, including hostility towards countries of origin.
Tehran, January 28, 2025. The small community of Cubans residing in Iran held, at the island's diplomatic headquarters, the first working meeting of this year with Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás with the interest of addressing various issues of current national affairs in Cuba.
Minutes before the meeting began, the Cubans present paid tribute to our National Hero José Martí, with an offering of white roses in the small corner of the Cuban Embassy.

Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás was received this Sunday at the headquarters of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian unicameral parliament) by the deputy and president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba (GPA), Jalil Mokhtar, to address issues of bilateral interest.
