The U.S. government once again discredits itself by unjustly including Cuba on the List of countries that “do not fully cooperate with its anti-terrorism efforts”.
Once again, the State Department turns the fight against international terrorism into a unilateral political exercise against countries that do not bow to its hegemonic interests.
Tehran, May 05, 2025. A Cuban business delegation, led by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, Antonio Luis Carricarte Corona, carried out an intense work agenda in the Persian capital from April 26 to May 3, within the framework of the IRAN-EXPO 2025 event.
Tehran, April 12, 2025. The Cuban ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, paid a working visit to the Pasteur Institute based in Tehran, a famous scientific institution dedicated to the research and production of biopharmaceutical products widely used in public health. For several decades, the Pasteur Institute has maintained close cooperation in the scientific area with Cuba, and whose most relevant result is the production of a joint vaccine against the coronavirus that has contributed to saving many lives in the Central Asian region.
Tehran, April 6, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás held a friendly exchange with young student leaders of the Amir Kabir University of Technology, who are coordinating in Tehran a student movement of solidarity with various just causes, such as the defense of Palestine and the demand for the cessation of aggression against Lebanon and Syria, as well as condemnation of the policy of unilateral sanctions of the United States on other nations like Cuba.
Tehran, April 4, 2025. Cuban children celebrated with joy and patriotism on April 4, the 64th and 63rd anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the UJC.
Within the framework of this commemoration, they proceeded to symbolically place scarves on the children present, who also raised the Cuban flag of the diplomatic mission, as well as made a heartfelt tribute to the Apostle with white roses and quotes from Martí's works, including a fragment of Abdala, as part of the scheduled activities.
