Cuba will soon present its arguments on Israel's practices and activities against the rights of the Palestinian people and other Arab inhabitants of the occupied territories before the International Court of Justice (ICJ). According to a statement issued by Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodríguez, Cuba requested a statement on the legal consequences resulting from Israel’s practices and policies against the Palestinian people.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez on Sunday congratulated Iranian people and government on the 45th anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution. On X, the Cuban Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country´s willingness to continue strengthening solidarity and brotherhood relations with Iran.
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel condemned the terrorist attack at a ceremony in Iran to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani. In his message, Diaz-Canel expressed his solidarity to the Iranian government and people and sent his condolences to the families of the victims of blasts in the city of Kerman that killed more than 100 people and wounded hundreds.
Friendship groups and Cubans living in Iran today ratified their solidarity with Cuba in a meeting with President Miguel Diaz-Canel, during his visit to Tehran. During the meeting painters, artists, poets, political and Religious scholars welcomed the Cuban president and congratulated him for the signing of contracts with Iran, while they asked him to join efforts to create a great anti-imperialist fortress, to avoid massacres like the one of Israel against the Palestinian people.
