Cubans living in Iran pay tribute to our National Hero, José Martí

Tehran, January 28, 2025. The small community of Cubans residing in Iran held, at the island's diplomatic headquarters, the first working meeting of this year with Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás with the interest of addressing various issues of current national affairs in Cuba.

Minutes before the meeting began, the Cubans present paid tribute to our National Hero José Martí, with an offering of white roses in the small corner of the Cuban Embassy.

Cuban ambassador meets with an Iranian representative to the VI International Conference for the Balance of the World

Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás met last Thursday at the diplomatic headquarters, with professor and member of the Nasī e Rahmān Mehdi Fouladvand Foundation, who will participate as a speaker in the VI edition of the Conference for the Balance of the World "With all and for the good of all", to be held from January 28 to 31st in Havana.

"Unjustified": Iran condemns Trump's reinstatement of Cuba to the terrorist list

Tehran, January 23, 2025.  Iran has condemned the “unjustified, baseless and rejected” move by US President Donald Trump to reinstate Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, stressing that such unilateral actions further weaken the rule of law at the international level.

"The United States has a long history of using such baseless and arbitrary designations, as well as defamation of independent countries as a tool to advance its own foreign agenda," Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Thursday.

Cuban ambassador gives interview to Iranian media in English "Iran Nuances"
