Cuban Ambassador meets with President of the Indian National Congress Party.

The Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, was received by Mallikarjun Kharge, President of the Indian National Congress Party. During the meeting, both agreed to highlight the historic friendly relations between Cuba and India, and the fundamental role played by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, as well as the relevant contribution of the National Congress Party in the establishment and subsequent development and consolidation of bilateral ties of friendship, respect and cooperation.

Solidarity with Cuba in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The regional conference of the Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship (ISCUF) in the state of Tamil Nadu was held in the presence of the Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, and the state Minister for Urban Development, K. N. Nehru. During his speech, the Minister highlighted the historic friendly regarding between the two countries and the admiration and respect for the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, who played a leading role in building bilateral ties.

India presents at FIHAV.

A large business delegation from India has been present at the Havana International Fair, Cuba's premier business forum. The Indian Pavilion, organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the International Economic and Trade Organization (IETO) and the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil), has the presence of more than thirty companies from different sectors, many of which are attending FIHAV for the first time.

Communist Party of Bangladesh reiterates its solidarity with the Cuban people and government.

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) sent a message of solidarity with the Cuban people and government. Its Chairman, Md. Shah Alam, and its General Secretary, Ruhin Hossain Prince strongly condemned the illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade of the US government against Cuba and demanded its lifting. 

The CPB condemned the damage caused to the Cuban people for more than 60 years, the intensification of this inhumane policy during the COVID-19 pandemic and the inclusion of Cuna in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
