Cuba and Canada explore business opportunities in the sectors of industry and energy.

Ottawa, November 27, 2019.- A sectoral delegation of industry and energy, headed by Mr. Yuri Viamontes, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines of Cuba, visits Canada between November 25 and 29, 2019. The delegation carries out an intensive work program in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

The Cuban delegation held meetings with several local companies interested in developing joint ventures, high-level officials from the Ministries of Economy, Science and Innovation and International Relations, Quebec Investment and the provincial government.

The Anniversary of the passing away of Commander in Chief was commemorated in Toronto

Toronto, November 25, 2019.- Although his loss has been irreparable, Cubans and other peoples around the world follow the beacon of light represented by Fidel and his ideas. That is the essence of the message of those present in the humble tribute paid to our historic leader, at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto.

Along with a group of friends of the solidarity organizations with Cuba and members of the Association of Cuban Residents in Toronto "Juan Gualberto Gómez".

Tribute to the Commander in Chief, on the anniversary of his passing away

Ottawa, November 25, 2019. - On the third anniversary of the passing away of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the Cuban Embassy in Canada paid tribute to his legacy.

As part of the tribute, the documentary "Fidel in the memory of the people" was screened, in which Cuban personalities relate their life experiences with the leader of the Revolution.
