This is an absurd and an arbitrary measure that has been criticized and demanded by numerous governments, political, religious and mass organizations in many countries around the world.

The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka Andrés Marcelo González Garrido signed the book of condolences at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo, on which occasion he expressed to the Iranian ambassador Dr. Alireza Delkhosh his condolences for the death of the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisí, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdolahian, and other passengers after the helicopter accident in which they were traveling and which on Sunday was forced to make an emergency landing in the northwest of the country.
