Dili, 2024 April 24. Ambassador Alina Aldama visited and met RASD Ambassador to Timor Leste Abba Malainin. They exchanged their points of view about nowadays critical situation arised in Gaza Strip as a consequence of military actions from the Israeli armed forces against Palestine.
Havana, April 23, 2024. The fourth Dialogue between Cuba-European Union on Unilateral Coercive Measures will take place this Wednesday, April 24 in Brussels, Belgium. The exchange will continue the one held in March 2021, in virtual format.
Dili, March 12, 2024. The President of Timor Leste, Dr. José Ramos Horta, visited the French frigate Vendémiaire, on the occasion of its arrival at the port of Dili, being received by the French ambassador for Dili and Jakarta, Fabien Penone. The Diplomatic Corps accredited in the country and, on the Cuban side, Ambassador Alina Aldama, were invited to this meeting.

Ambassador Alina Aldama paid a courtesy call on Ms. Maria Angela Freitas da Silva, Advisor to the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and CONFAC Focal Point, who was accompanied by her team for a first meeting to discuss a series of priority issues for Timor-Leste related to economic recovery after the legislative elections.

During the event, the President of Timor-Leste was informed about the characteristics and traditions of the typical dishes of Cuban cuisine.
