The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Australia welcomes and acknowledges the initiatives that the various branches of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS), other solidarity organizations, Cuban residents, and friends of Cuba will be carrying out this weekend in several Australian cities to commemorate July 26th, a date of enormous historical significance for our country and which today symbolizes the courage, dignity, and resilience of the Cuban people.

Cuban Embassy in Australia Participates in Solidarity Walk in Yass as Part of the From Australia to Cuba with Love 2026 Campaign

As part of the activities of the From Australia to Cuba with Love 2026 campaign, members of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, along with members of the Canberra branch of the Cuban Association of Friends of Cuba (ACFS), participated in a 10-kilometer solidarity walk in the city of Yass (NSW), from José Martí House to Oak Hill Aboriginal Place.

Screening of the documentary Cuba After Castro in Canberra reaffirms Australian solidarity and denounces the tightening of the blockade against Cuba

In a context marked by the tightening of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States government, the Australian solidarity community once again expressed its support for the Cuban people with the screening of the documentary “Cuba After Castro” at the Australian Education Union ACT Branch.
